Some of the major earthquake research and disaster management sites are listed below. They provide direct link to their web pages.

Visit these sites and enter into a useful exchange of information and knowledge on the subject.

Center for Earthquake Research and Information

CERI, a research institute of The University of Memphis, offers graduate degrees through the Departments of Geological Sciences and Civil Engineering

The Earthquake Engineering Research Institute is a national, nonprofit, technical society of engineers, geoscientists, architects, planners, public officials, and social scientists. EERI members include researchers, practicing professionals, educators, government officials, and building code regulators.

Natural Hazards Research and Applications Information Center

The Natural Hazards Research and Applications Information Center is a national clearinghouse for data relating to the economic loss, social disruption, and human response associated with natural disasters and related technological risks

The NEIC has three main missions. First, the NEIC determines, as rapidly and as accurately as possible, the location and size of all destructive earthquakes that occur worldwide. The NEIC disseminates this information immediately to concerned national and international agencies, scientists, and the general public. Second, the NEIC collects and provides to scientists and to the public an extensive seismic database that serves as a solid foundation for scientific research, principally through the operation of modern digital national and global seismograph networks and through cooperative international agreements.
